Return Policy

At Saltywear, we believe in making products with intention built to last, designed with purpose, and released in limited quantities. Because of that, we keep our return policy simple, fair, and aligned with the nature of our collections.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns or exchanges on eligible items within 10 days of delivery.

To qualify, items must be:

  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • Unused
  • In original condition
  • Returned with original tags and packaging (if applicable)

Any item showing signs of wear, washing, damage, odor, or alteration will not be accepted.

Limited Releases / Drop Collections

Because many Saltywear pieces are produced in small batches or as part of a limited release, all items marked as:

  • Release
  • Drop
  • Founder Edition
  • Limited Edition
  • Final Sale

are considered final sale or exchange/store credit only, depending on availability.

Please review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Exchanges

If you need a different size, we will do our best to offer an exchange for the same item, subject to inventory availability.

Due to the limited nature of many Saltywear releases, we cannot guarantee that replacement sizes will be in stock.

If your requested size is unavailable, we may offer:

  • Store credit, or
  • An alternate approved exchange (at our discretion)

Refunds

Refunds are available only for eligible standard collection items that meet return requirements and are approved after inspection.

Please note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the item is received and approved

Approved refunds typically process within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

If approved, we will offer one of the following, depending on availability:

  • Replacement
  • Store credit
  • Refund

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Limited release / drop items marked final sale
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Custom or made-to-order items
  • Gift cards
  • Worn or washed items
  • Items returned without prior approval
  • Hats that have been worn or used

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • We sent the wrong item
  • The item arrived damaged or defective
  • There was a verified fulfillment error on our end

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Saltywear is not responsible for packages lost in transit.

If approved, we’ll provide return instructions.

Please do not send returns without contacting us first.

Policy Notes

Saltywear reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions above.
